((Rehan’s Story))

I started working when i was 14 years old, in 1987, Thats not when i started to work, thats when I Started Pakistan Computers.

I started working when i was really young, Maybe 8, My dad used to get us Lottery and 14th aug stuff and we used to sell out side the house.

Then in Class 3 I remember, my Urdu Teacher when she heard a complaint that I used to sell Rubber’s in class, and she smiled instead of getting upset, and said maybe he will become a good business man one day. I was 8.

I used to sell Rubber’s , Pencil Rubbers of differnt designs, which i used to get from Bhai Chamman’s shop and sell them in the shcool and make profit, and then enjoy that money by eating chilli Chips and coke.

When I got my first computer, the commodore 64 finally after getting training from ABC which I was the youngest to enroll and Ammi Paid maybe 3000 rupee’s to get me in there, as I was REQUIRED to KNOW how a computer works before I could actually buy one.

So Finally when I got my commodore, I was hiding in my room programming all day long as per the manual in the commodore’s user manual and learning how to change colours of the screen by commands using basic language.

Look at my Resume for the companies and web sites I started and when.

Today’s quote

“First then Ignore you, Then They Laugh at you, then they fight with you, and then you win!” Gandhi

Did I made good money on the way ?

Yes and No.

I was never in it for the money, I started off to spend my time, in a better way, I was BORED all the time, and Did not have enough pocket money from my parents, not that they cant offord to, but they just did not think I needed it.

They would want me to tell them what I want and why, and They would get it for me, which was mostly not so much…

I guess it was for money but not for GOOD money, Serious money…

I spent most of the money what I made on new magazines, giving out to poor, and Planting Tree’s on the streets….

Yep, I used to go with my 1 or 2 friends that I had and plant out tree’s on the street of Karachi, Hoping it will be greener one day 🙂 hehe, well its not greener, that’s for sure. but we tried.
