There are several problems on a DID number on VPL and DIDX.

But 99% of the problems from the customers who have not done interop are incorrect.

50% of the Customers who have passed the interop there complaint is also incorrect.

Below are the steps and reasons of these errors.

Some Problems:

This complain is about 862131001686:This number that we just purchased is going to Fast Busy. We get the same result when we send to our SIP server or to [email protected]. Please investigate ASAP. This is urgent.

Answer: This may be due to a problem at providers end, or the channel, Please check the channels. Also in the View Order > Carrier Settings >

You can Set REinvite = no

And that should help.

Problem 2:

This complain is about 17735419981:17735419981 i am trying to dial this number. Its not reaching my switch. Even in call logs i cant see any call logs generating on didx call logs. Please help me. Its urgent.

CAse: USA DID – CUstomer Claim that its not reaching him.

Answer: FIrst this should be checked with DID Tester, If the DID test fail, report to carrier and inform customer.

2. Follow up with carrier every day.

If the DIDX Test pass, that means that the call is coming to us, then you have to map it to [email protected]
ask it time

Then test it with your ip pabx extension

If both works, then tell customer that its working fine,

Dear Customer Name,

The DID Number XXXXXX has been tested and it seems to be working fine for us.

Please review the call logs.

Problem 3:
ONe way Voice.

Possible Reason: customer’s proxy does not support NAT

Answer: Follow the process on Problem 2.

If still not work on your own network, do the steps on problem 1, if still does not work, then ticket to rehan, and let him know what steps u have done so far.
